Double play has an incredible atmosphere of divey and home all at the same time. I mean, let's talk about bartenders. Aurita? Wow. An angel. Every time she is just the warmest individual who does everything she can to make you feel at home. This is the place to go if you fux with natives.
The literal only piece of feedback I have is BRING BACK THE SOFT MINTS. Red and white only, the ones with the green make my tongue hurt -

I ordered from here through Postmates because of the great reviews I found on Yelp. To my surprise, the food turned out to be underwhelming, poorly made, and overall disappointing. The ingredients were sloppily thrown on the side for all the burger and sandwich orders. My burger was unevenly cooked and the avocados looked very sad and out of place inside the box. And to top it all off, none of the garden salads that claimed to come with chicken had any.
The only reason why this review doesn't get 1 star is because there was an error with the Postmates delivery app. Luckily, the company responded quickly to my complaint and they were gracious enough to adjust the bill accordingly. However, it doesn't at all dismiss the poor food quality of the order. How this restaurant has 4 stars with no complaints is beyond me. -

Came here on a work lunch with my boss's boss. We were both puzzled the minute we walked in. No one greeted us. Do we seat our selves or be seated ?
If you're looking for big portions and high sodium dishes this is the spot!
Ordered a plate of the sautéed prawns which came with a side of pasta cooked to perfection and an array of fresh veggies mainly squash and broccoli that was slightly steamed. The prawns came out pretty good, but the were basically medium size shrimp. Prawns have a different texture and the meat is more tough like mini lobsters. These medium size shrimp didn't fool me.
Overall the dish was too salty for me. Washed it all down with some ice cold coke.
Service here was excellent. I didn't catch our waitress's name but was a double play for me here.
I might have to come here for beers and watch the warriors play. I heard a lot of great things about the vibe here when they host games. -

We got the Breakfast Burrito (chorizo with avocado, sour cream, and jalapeño) and it was AMAZING! I don't normally like burritos, but this was so delicious! Will come back for more.

I come here on my work lunch break and the atmosphere is great! It's a chill bar vibe with great breakfast food. I've never came here other than breakfast.
I get the corn beef hash with grilled jalapeños with English muffin.
The portion size is decent but you really don't need to eat that much in the morning anyways.
The staff is super nice and holds great conversations.
Keep it up!
